Iron Tide Command
Iron Tide Command asks you to think like a logistics officer, not just a general. You command fleets across a stylised map, and every battle is shaped by whether your ships are fuelled, repaired and in position. It's slower and more thoughtful than the usual mobile strategy fare, and we mean that as a compliment.
The touch controls took an evening to click, but once they did, drag-selecting groups and routing them around the map felt natural. The campaign eases you into the systems one at a time, so the supply mechanics never feel overwhelming. Skirmish mode against the AI is where we spent most of our time, tweaking strategies and losing an embarrassing number of matches before it finally made sense.
This isn't a tap-and-win game. It expects patience and rewards planning. If that sounds like your kind of thing, it's one of the more satisfying strategy games on the platform right now.
